RS-485/422 Cable Wiring

You can wire your ACM/Flex16 with the RS-485/422 option in

various ways to communicate with RS-485/422 peripherals. This

section will describe a few examples of RS-485/422 cabling

schemes.

Figures 18, 19 and 20 describe 8 wire, 4 wire and 2 wire cabling

schemes between a port on the ACM/Flex16 to a port on the RS-

485/422 peripheral.
